Christian Sarrazin

Christian Sarrazin spearheads SOCAN’s efforts to assume a leadership role within the Canadian and world music industry. He also manages SOCAN’s contribution to the works of international organizations. Christian sits on CISAC’s Common Information System Supervisory Board and is Chair of the Strategic Business & Technology Working Group. He is also a member of the Management Board of FastTrack. With over 30 years of experience, he has served as a diplomat with the Canadian Foreign Service, as a senior executive with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and as the Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Commercial Corporation. He also held several executive positions in Asia for telecommunications companies such as Teleglobe, Harris, and Motorola, and operated his own business, CBCS GLOBAL (Singapore). Christian is a graduate of economics, with a BA Honours from McGill University and an MA from the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
