Dan Greenwood

Dan Greenwood is currently responsible for SOCAN's strategic planning and business opportunity assessment and initiation to enhance services while expanding and diversifying SOCAN's role. With 30 years of experience in performing rights he has led PROCAN's Licensing, SOCAN's Concert, Performance Logging and Identification, and Corporate Planning and Business Change departments. Dan directed the re-engineering of SOCAN's Membership, Licensing and Distribution functions, achieving innovations including the creation of the assigned account executives and a focused licensing sales force. Dan has played a major role in significant change projects, including a number of technology strategy projects. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals.
