SOCAN members to play global showcases at CMA fest

Various SOCAN members will represent Canada at Global Events Showcases to be held June 4-5, 2012, as part of this year's edition of the annual Country Music Association (CMA) Music Festival week in Nashville.

Emerson Drive, High Valley and Jess Moskaluke will perform during the CMA Global Artist Party on Monday, June 4, at The Stage on Broadway. Also, Clayton Bellamy, Josh Macumber and Jessica Ridley will play during the Aristo Global Show on Tuesday, June 5, at The Second Fiddle. SOCAN member performers from past Global Events have included George Canyon, Johnny Reid, and Doc Walker.

“One of CMA’s missions is to help spread country music around the globe,” says Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “We are always excited to see international country music performers grow and develop in their own countries, and then visit Nashville to build their relationships with both the fans and the industry. We look forward to celebrating and showcasing them in Music City during the week of CMA Music Festival.”
