Singer-songwriter
Song – "Paroles en l'air" - Now playing...
Bio
Originally from Maniwaki, Northwest of Montreal, singer-songwriter Claire Prévost spent many years singing and playing her guitar in bars before participating in the Granby International Song Festival, where she reached the semi-finals in 2009 and earned subsequent critical acclaim. In 2010, the folk/blues/country artist released Promesses d’ivrogne (Drunkard’s Promises), a five-song EP produced with musicians David Brunet, Simon Blouin, Richard Deschênes and Ghislain-Luc Lavigne.
Prévost’s songs, with titles such as “Pauvre fille” ("Poor Girl"), “Seule” ("Alone") and “Paroles en l’air” ("Empty Words"), deal with the realities of a mature forty-something woman who has survived challenging life experiences. Stay tuned.
