Quebec singer-songwriter Claude "Mégo" Lemay, best known as Céline Dion's bandleader, is among the 25 finalists of the Beijing Olympics' theme song competition. One of the 30,000 songs entered, his contribution, "Peace Love in Harmony," was written in 20 languages.

SOCAN member Lemay is in good company amongst the finalists, sharing the honour with such luminaries as David Foster and Quincy Jones, with the rest of the finalists being mostly Chinese.
