SOCAN members Normand Corbeil, John Welsman and Cherie Camp were the winners in the music categories of the 30^th annual edition of the Genie Awards, honouring the best in the Canadian film industry. Winners were celebrated in a gala ceremony on April 12, 2010, at the Guvernment/Kool Haus entertainment complex in the waterfront district of Toronto.

Corbeil earned the best original score award for his contribution to the movie Grande Ourse: La Clé des possibles/The Master Key, while the songwriting team of John Welsman and Cherie Camp took the best original song honours for "Oh Love," which appeared in the movie Nurse.Fighter.Boy.
