Meet music industry managers one-on-one at MMF workshop during CMW 2010
Canadian Music Week (CMW) attendees will have the opportunity to sit down face-to-face with established music industry managers in a one-on-one "Speed Dating Session" during the Music Managers Forum (MMF) Canada workshop at CMW 2010 in Toronto. Attendees will be able to sign up in advance for the 15-minute sessions, with time slots allotted on a first-come-first-served basis
The one-on-one sessions are the second part of a two-part workshop, which brings together some of music’s top managers and industry professionals in an event taking place from
1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on March 10, 2010, in the Tudor 7/8 Room at the Royal York Hotel.
In the first part of the workshop, industry roundtable guests will openly discuss the challenges and issues that managers and their artists face. This will enable attendees to gain a well-rounded understanding of the current climate of the industry, both domestically and internationally. Topics include touring and the international marketplace, copyright, new revenue streams, evolving business models and more.

The workshop is free to CMW Executive Delegates, attendees with Tune-Up Confernece Passes, and MMF Members. For all others, the cost is $20 CDN at the door.
