SOCAN’s Annual General Meeting – June 14, 2011 – Montreal

SOCAN members who earned performing right royalties in 2010 are eligible to attend SOCAN’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Montreal on June 14, 2011, and getting the information you need to participate is just a mouse click away. All eligible members will have received an e-mail or letter from SOCAN the week of May 2, 2011, containing a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will give them access to the AGM information and the proxy form online.

Won’t be able to make it to Montreal to attend the AGM? No problem! Your AGM information will include instructions on how to assign another member to act as your proxy at the meeting. Your proxy is any other member who is eligible to and will be attending the meeting: he or she will act and vote on your behalf. If you can't attend, you'll also be able to see – for the first time – a live streaming webcast of the AGM, which will also be available for viewing after the event. It's the next best thing to being there!
