SOCAN was on the scene at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, for the 2009 Alberta Hospitality & Lodging Trade show. Throughout the days and nights of April 5-6, delegates from the hotel trade visited the show to attend their annual general meeting, the Hospitality Awards event and the trade show itself.

SOCAN was among more than 80 suppliers who attended the trade show, where SOCAN Industry Relations representative Wayne Saunders manned the SOCAN booth, greeting both old licensing customers and prospective new ones. The draw for a SOCAN combination radio/cooler was won by Maria Macedo, operations manager for Canterra Suites in Edmonton. Notable visitors to our booth included David Kaiser, president of the Alberta Hospitality & Lodging Association, and Tom Mullin, president & CEO of Saskatchewan Hotel & Hospitality Association.
