A class action complaint was filed against Black Entertainment Television, LLC (BET) in the Southern District of New York, in which it is alleged that BET infringed copyright by virtue of certain activities. To resolve the claims against it, BET has agreed to pay $2,750,000 USD (and to agree to other relief) as set forth in the Settlement Agreement.
