Catherine Durand wins singer-songwriter award at Swiss festival

SOCAN member Catherine Durand received the award for best female singer-songwriter on June 12, 2010, at the Pully Lavaux à l'heure du Québec festival, Europe’s largest event dedicated exclusively to North American Francophone music. Back in Quebec, the talented artist presented three performances the following week as part of the FrancoFolies de Montréal festival.

The 2010 edition of the bi-yearly Pully Lavaux à l’heure du Québec festival was presented June 4-12 on the outskirts of Lausanne, Switzerland. The event was created in 1996, and the festival trophy was designed by Quebec sculptor Guy Bel. For more information, please visit the festival site.
