EMI Music Publishing Canada and the Toronto campus of The Audio Recording Academy (TARA Toronto) have created a unique alliance, integrating the EMI Music Publishing Canada studio and audio lab into TARA Toronto's educational facility and program.

This exclusive relationship gives TARA Toronto students an unprecedented insight into the workings of the music industry through a major music corporation -- from inception through to the final product. TARA Toronto students will also have opportunities for internship sessions on EMI Music Publishing Canada projects and the possibility of working alongside some of the country's best musical talent.

EMI Music Publishing Canada boasts a remarkable roster of songwriters and musicians including Billy Talent, Three Days Grace and Alexisonfire, as well as a full slate of more established writers and developing Canadian talent.

"There's going to be an opportunity for leading students at TARA to get real-world experience working with our writers, and for the top students to intern with EMI Publishing. It's a really exciting situation," says Michael McCarty, president of EMI Music Publishing Canada.
