SOCAN attended the 15th annual Quebec music industry gathering, Rencontres de l’ADISQ, held June 14-17 in Montreal. Other guest panelists included Daniel Drapeau, counsel to Smart and Biggar Fetherstonhaugh (Canada); Marie-Françoise Marais, president, HADOPI (France); and Chris Carey, an economist from PRS for Music (United Kingdom). Ogilvy Renault Senior Partner Claude Brunet was the moderator.
