Bruce Cockburn, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Robbie Robertson and Ginette Reno honoured on postage stamps

On June 30, 2011, as part of its Canadian Recording Artists series, Canada Post will issue a quartet of stamps to celebrate the efforts of four musicians who have made remarkable contributions to the Canadian music scene: Bruce Cockburn, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Robbie Robertson and Ginette Reno.

"This is very exciting,” said Cockburn. “I think the design is beautiful and I'm deeply honoured that Canada Post has seen fit to include me in their Canadian Recording Artists stamp series."
