SOCAN was pleased to honour Sam Roberts with a No. 1 Award for his song “Detroit ’67,” which reached the top spot on the MuchMoreMusic Countdown on Nov. 28, 2008.

SOCAN’s Ted Seto presented Roberts with the No. 1 Award plaque prior to his performance on June 20, 2009, at the Mississauga Waterfront Festival in suburban Toronto.
