Leïla Jolin-Dahel received the $1,000 SOCAN Best Song Award for her song “Happy Ending” at the competition final of the the 19th annual Festival de la chanson de St-Ambroise, a song competition held Aug. 15-21, 2010, in Quebec’s Saguenay region. Sandrine Royer received a special mention in the same category for “Mon arbre” ("My Tree").

SOCAN was on the scene throughout the festival, during which Montreal office Membership representative Laurie Lapointe hosted an information workshop for young performers.
