SOCAN was happy to honour Belly – as well as frequent collaborator The Weeknd – with a No. 1 Song Award as two of the co-writers of “Might Not,” which reached the top of the MuchMusic Countdown on April 29, 2016.

"Might Not,” performed by Belly feat. The Weeknd, was written by Belly and The Weeknd (both SOCAN) as well as Benjamin Diehl (BMI). The song is published by SAL&CO LP, Warner Chappell Music Canada and SONGS Music Publishing.

Belly, signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label, recently released his new album Inzombia, and has co-written no less than nine songs with The Weeknd on his new Starboy album.
