Enter songs now for the 2017 International Songwriting Competition

SOCAN members and other songwriters and composers are invited to enter their songs now for the 2017 International Songwriting Contest (ISC).

In this 16th annual edition of the contest, the ISC will give away more than $150,000 USD in cash and prizes (shared among the 71 winners), including an overall Grand Prize consisting of $25,000 cash and much more in prizes. In 2016, the ISC drew more than 15,000 entries from more than 130 countries.

Open to both amateur and professional songwriters, the ISC offers 23 categories within which applicants can enter, representing all genres of popular music. Past winners include Grammy winners, chart-topping artists and amateur songwriters, including Bastille, Vance Joy, Gotye, The Band Perry, Passenger, and Missy Higgins.
