Learn songwriting from Justin Rutledge

ou can learn songwriting from Justin Rutledge this summer as he teaches an intensive course presented by the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. The course is scheduled for July 16-20, 2012, at the university’s St. George campus in downtown Toronto. The cost is $649 CDN (which rises to $699 CDN after June 15).

Rutledge will offer his experience and advice, and show you how to avoid clichés and marry your music with your lyrics in this intense five-day workshop. Discover how great songwriters created the templates for today's popular songs. Short exercises will help you break through writer's block and find your unique voice.
