SOCAN members win in 2012 Independent Music Awards

The Mahones, Jaron Freeman-Fox, and Jason & Pharis Romero were among the SOCAN member winners in the 11th annual Independent Music Awards (IMAs), announced May 2, 2012.

The winners in the awards program for independent artists were chosen in more than 70 album, song, music video and design categories, narrowed down from thousands of submissions from around the world, and judged by a panel of influential artists and music industry professionals.
